This volume is a memorial of God’s wonderful grace to us through fifty years of service to Him (1940-1990). In His grace He has committed to our trust a priceless treasure: the most wonderful message ever sent from God to man, and we humbly acknowledge our unworthiness to be entrusted with these riches of grace and glory.
Indeed “…we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us” (II Cor. 4:7).
Thus, we praise and adore Him for using our faltering efforts to accomplish more than we could ever have dreamed of.
To introduce this booklet, Pastor C. R. Stam wrote these words:
“We hope the following message will prove a great blessing to you. In it we explain our objections to the Sacrifice of the Mass, and our belief in the once-for-all sacrifice of Christ on Calvary, by which alone we find ‘peace with God.’
As we press our arguments home, please do not conclude that we hold any ill will toward any Roman Catholic. Rather it is our prayer that, after reading this article you will be rejoicing with us in an accomplished redemption.”
